Wexford Credit Union Limited – Virtual Special General Meeting 21st October at 7:30 pm

The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to elect a Board Oversight Committee (BOC).

The current candidates going forward for election are as follows, this list will be updated accordingly:

Conor Byrne

Conor is a local secondary school teacher and believes in giving back to the community. Conor believes that the Credit Union ethos aligns very much with his own values. He is a member of the fundraising committee for Wexford MarineWatch and was previously part of a team in the Zambia Immersion Project to help develop a school there.

Leonard Kelly

Leonard is a local Councillor, former Mayor of Wexford and a founding member of the Wexford Volunteer Centre. Leonard has a clear commitment to his community and could not pass up the opportunity to be involved in a leading Community based organisation in Wexford town. The ethos of the Credit Union is very much aligned with Leonards own values.

Oliver Mahon

Oliver has held senior management positions in his career in purchasing and materials management. He has been a member of Wexford Credit Union for over 50 years and an active member of the community. Oliver has served on many committees in The Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club and as Chairman of Crossabeg School Parents Council.

Nicola Brazzill

Nicola is currently employed as a HR Manager and has experience throughout her work career to date in Financial Services, HR, IT, Legal and Risk Management. Nicola is a member of the Credit Union for over 40 years and is looking to give back to the community through this volunteer role. The ethos of the Credit Union fits her core attitudes and values.

The Board of Directors would like to thank all of the above for putting themselves forward for election. The Board has satisfied itself that they are qualified to be appointed and have appropriate and relevant experience to offer.
