Wexford Credit Union schedules members’ meeting for Monday 21st October 2024
Wexford Credit Union has scheduled a Special General Meeting of its members for Monday 21st October at 7:30pm.
Members will be asked at this meeting to elect new members of the Credit Union’s Board Oversight Committee. These people will fill vacancies arising from previous members stepping down at various times since the last election.
The meeting will also provide members with an update on the Credit Union’s strong trading performance for the financial year ending 30th September 2024.
Based on the strength of its performance, the Credit Union is preparing to pay a more substantially enhanced dividend and interest rebate to members, subject to Board and member approval after the year end accounts are finalised, audited and published.
The Special General Meeting will be held online and details will be sent to members in the coming days.
The election of new members to the Board Oversight Committee has no impact on the Credit Union’s day-to-day operations. Members can continue to lodge and withdraw money, apply for loans, and conduct their business as normal.
